GESTION DES EFFLUENTS PHYTOPHARMACEUTIQUES : ne vous en occupez pas

MANAGEMENT OF PHYTOPHARMACEUTICAL EFFLUENTS: don’t worry about it

OCEANIA ENVIRONMENT offers plant protection effluent management solutions.

  • For use with optimal efficiency, allowing compliance with environmental standards

Depending on your effluent volume, your geographic location, weather and other constraints, we have the solution.

  • price + speed of installation for PHYTOGEST
  • mobile (PHYTOGEST) or fixed (HELIOSEC) solution
  • dehydration by natural (HELIOSEC) or forced (PHYTOGEST) ventilation: no constraints on monitoring the degradation of the effluents or spreading the effluents – optimized carbon footprint and no time spent managing the degradation of the effluents.

PROTECTION OF THE USER-HYGIENE-COMPLIANCE WITH SANITARY CONDITIONS:

    • Oceania Environment strongly recommends the use of Personal Protective Equipment during washing operations to protect against splashes of water, effluents and detergents used.

System for treating phytosanitary effluents by natural dehydration recognized by the Ministry of Ecology No. PT 06 007 in collaboration with SYNGENTA.

A prior diagnosis is mandatory before implantation of the Héliosec® device

    Héliosec® is made up of:

    • a bin with double black polyethylene envelope
    • a galvanized steel frame topped with a polycarbonate roof
    • The assembly meets “swimming pool shelter” safety standards

    Functioning :

“Heliosec is a system for managing phytosanitary effluents.

It works by natural dehydration thanks to wind and heat. Developed by Syngenta, it received official approval from the Ministry of the Environment.

Simple, economical and approved by the Ministry of the Environment

Simple and economical, Héliosec makes it possible to manage all the active substances and thus comply with the regulations which require the management of tank bottoms and sprayer washing water.

It has received official approval from the Ministry of the Environment for effluents from vines, arboriculture (except post-harvest), field crops, vegetable crops, post-harvest treatments of endives and bananas, horticulture and non-agricultural areas.

Heat and wind for the dehydration of effluents

Héliosec consists of a tank and a frame delivered as a kit. It is sold by agricultural supply distributors. The installation, which can be carried out by the farmer, allows the rinsing water to be collected in a tarpaulin. These are gradually dehydrated by the natural action of wind and heat. At the end of the cycle, the tarpaulin and the dry deposit are collected in a specific container for subsequent destruction by the Adivalor sector.

A computerized tool to accompany the equipment

Héliosec is accompanied by software made available to trained technicians who carry out the obligatory diagnostics in order to assess the needs of the operation. It helps to:

    • Quantify and optimize the volume generated,
    • Define a location that complies with regulations and is part of an approach to good agricultural practices on the farm,
    • Estimate the period when the deposit will be dry using a calculation tool which models the evolution of the levels in the tank according to the volumes introduced and according to the geographical areas,
    • Inform the operator about the regulations in force (decree of September 12, 2006).

    An assembly in three hours

The device delivered as a kit assembles and attaches to a concrete slab in 3 hours. It is made of a waterproof polyethylene tank 3 meters long, 2 meters wide and 0.5 meters deep.

    A second, smaller model has recently become available (2m x 2m x 0.5m).
The tank is framed by a frame and is topped with a roof, the whole meeting the standards required for swimming pool shelters. The tarpaulin and the container intended to store the final waste are also provided.

    Autonomous and controllable operation

Operation based on the physical principle of dehydration can receive all types of active substances (fungicides, herbicides, insecticides, minerals, etc.).

A specific stainless steel gauge, placed at the bottom of the tank, allows the user, through a simple visual check, to follow the evolution of the levels in the tank."

    Description of the PHYTOGEST® system:

Management of phyto effluents to standards: aerial Phytogest®, the essentials:

    • Management of phyto effluents to standards: aerial Phytogest® is a powerful stimulator of natural degradation by forced ventilation of wastewater loaded with residues of phytopharmaceutical products.
    • Thanks to its properties, this product reduces the concentrations of pollutants prevalent in soils, waterways, and groundwater, thus contributing to the preservation of the environment.
    • PHYTOGEST® allows the evaporation of effluents contained in a 900 or 1400 liter pallet box.
    • Easy to use, maintenance-free, the device will reduce the volumes of wastewater until you obtain a dry residue packaged in a bag.

The device allows the evaporation of the water contained in the phytosanitary effluents. This system is based on a principle of forced ventilation inside closed tanks, and makes it possible to generate a completely dry residue.

The device can be purchased as a kit or ready to use. Once installed in its storage location, the user only has to fill the tank as it generates the effluent.

The system requires no adjustment or maintenance throughout its lifespan. It operates 24/7, and must only be stopped during filling operations.

The interest of this process lies in its adaptability to almost all types of tanks.

But above all, this process, like many others, generates a solid dry residue that cannot be spread, which was confirmed by the Toulouse Administrative Court in its judgment of May 15, 2018, specifying that this system could be used as part of the treatment. phytosanitary effluents.

The range currently consists of two models:

    • PHYTOGEST® 900, adapted to a 900 liter pallet box: currently the best-selling!
    • PHYTOGEST® 1400, mounted on a 1400 liter pallet box. Due to the large dimensions of this pallet box, it is reinforced by a metal structure to withstand the pressure generated by 1400 liters of liquid in the long term.

This equipment has been designed to offer a solution that can be used without a retention tank.

In fact, regulations regarding the storage of dangerous materials require double walls. PHYTOGEST® respects this obligation: the bag is the main container, and the pallet box acts as a retention bin.

Turnkey delivery and ready to use

The device is delivered ready for use. The user only has to place it in his storage area, carrying out the following manipulations: he installs the bag provided in the pallet box, then after closing the latter with its lid, he will no longer be missing just fit the blower into its intended location. The effluent can now be introduced into the box. A visual level indicator helps avoid any risk of overflow.

Once a year, once the effluent has evaporated, the dry residue packaged in the bag can be sent for destruction as a hazardous material. A new knowledge can then be put in place.

    Principle of operation

The PHYTOGEST® process is based on forced and judiciously oriented air circulation in the tank, which will allow the evaporation of the water contained therein.

The system operates without any contact between the liquid hazardous material and the device, which guarantees high system reliability.

Power consumption is very low (52W). The device uses the calories naturally present in the air, its efficiency is excellent: always greater than 100%, it can even exceed 300% in the best cases.
