Frost protection for water storage

Different systems are available: internal or external cable or insulating frost protection cover – also for rainwater collection systems (heating cables for gutters).

• Self-regulating heating cables provide protection against frost and maintain low, medium or high temperatures (they consist of a semi-conductive matrix inserted between two conductors, to which an electrical voltage is applied). The heat output is independent of the length of the cable, which saves energy.
• Applications: Keeping drains, pipes, tanks and containers frost-free, clearing snow and ice from gutters and downpipes, clearing snow from outdoor surfaces, access ramps, sports fields, pavements, etc.
