Achievements

Creation of a flexible washing area with management of phytopharmaceutical effluents

Client: Rhonea – 84

Date: 2023

Business: Winegrowing cooperative – 400 cooperative winegrowers at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail.

Existing: washing and filling in the plot in several areas

Client requirements:

  • One of the winegrowers wanted to have his own area on his farm, rather than outside as is often the case with collective concrete areas.
  • Available at all times (no waiting for other users to finish).
  • Everything in one place.
  • To comply with environmental standards for washing and filling equipment.
  • To enhance the value of its wine-tasting and wine-tourism area for its customers by minimizing investment.

Solution: Oceania Environment® supplied:

  • 1 flexible area with lifting brackets to collect washing or filling effluents.
  • 1 pump to send them to the Phytogest®.
  • 1 Phytogest® to dehydrate phyto effluents by forced ventilation (once the phyto treatment season is over, the winegrower will lift the lid, fold up the bag containing the dehydrated effluents and entrust it to an organization such as ADIVALOR for treatment).

Why choose Oceania Environment®?

  • No earthworks (all you need is clean, hard ground).
  • Forced dehydration speeds up the process and guarantees 100% reliability.
  • No manpower – the entire system can be installed and managed by a single person. No maintenance.
  • The entire wash area can be moved easily in the event of building work or a change of use of the area dedicated to washing, it’s easy to dismantle and reassemble all the facilities elsewhere.

Client satisfaction:

  • Environmentally-friendly: sprayer wash water is no longer discharged into the environment.
  • Virtuous image for customers for the nearby tasting area.
  • Simplicity, ease, reliability, and autonomy.
  • Reduced investment.
